Happy 1st Birthday to my most awesomest nephew that lives in Las Vegas!!! :)
And it rained today!!! Not that it's that bigga deal, after all, this is monsoon season.... but we are nearing 3 hours and the rain is still coming. Besides that... we played in it today!!

199/365: July 18
Good Monday!!
Did the exercise thing with Jene' this morning. Then did some running around.
Registered and paid for our next 5k race (come on October!!) I really hope I can keep with running more to be able to run the whole race.... And maybe even push myself to race against other people. But for the most part, I want to run the whole thing, and get a better time than the last one. :)
Came home and got dinner started. Missy and Nathan came over to hang out and chat, and they ended up taking us out to lunch at the pizza buffet. (I'm quite proud of myself that I only ate a salad, 1 piece of pizza, & a bread stick. ;) Then came home to chat some more...
After they left, we did some last minute cleaning to have Family Night Dinner at our house... since Mom and Pops are out of town. We had some yummy spaghetti!! And Jene' made this pretty freekin tasty Mountain Dew cake!
THANKS, NE'!!!
Now it's time to wind down for the evening and get ready for a bust day of.... LAUNDRY.... tomorrow.
YAY! ;) Oh yeah, and I gotta get primed for RUNNING in the AM! :)

198/365: July 17
Mostly Good Sunday.
Went to church. Washed some vehicles. Got some rain. Visited with a beloved cousin. Hung out with our Ne'. And a fair good amount of relaxing.
The huge down side of the day was mom getting a call right after church.... I guess our great grandma is not doing well at all..... so poorly in fact, they (mom, Bri, & Aunt Tish) don't know if they will make it "home" -- Minnesota-- in time. And while Grandma Mable just celebrated her 99th Birthday, I still thought I would get to see her again. We were going to make a family vacation to go out there next year for her 100th birthday... looks like it's not going to happen. And I don't want to be on the side wishing she could just hold on for one more year. Grandma is old. And she (obviously) is having a lot of health issues. And I, for one, wouldn't want her to struggle and suffer through another whole year just for me.... But I am fairly devastated that I haven't been able get back to Minnesota to visit since 2004. Even more sad that she has not been able to meet 2 of her great grandchildren.
So for now.... my thoughts and prayers are with my family who are out there. My Great-grandma. Her daughters (my grandma and her sister). My Mom and her sister. And the rest that will be aching with the loss (soon) of an amazing woman.

Today = AWESOME!
"Martha Stewart"ed it up this morning. Now I have a place to hang my bras after they get washed.
Played in the trucks
Hung out at home.
And Ben completed a renovation of his swing. --> Keep in mind that he made this swing himself in college. His "renovations" included taking off and sanding all the boards, painting the frame and all the bolts, and re staining and polyurethane-d the wood. I must say... it looks amazing!
Now, off to sit on the porch and drink a Mike's Hard Black Cherry Lemonade. YUM.

196/365: July 15
Ok.... so I had an EXCELLENT day yesterday... no idea why I didn't blog it... so here I am to play catch up! :)
Went on the morning run solo. Seems I've been getting ditched a lot... and you know what?! That's ok. Because I can go my own pace. I can push myself without having to worry about someone else. Not saying that I only want to go out alone... just that I'm okay with it when it happens.
After slogging (slow jogging) my way through 3.1 miles, I put the T-man down for a nap and let Rebekah watch a movie while I got some stuff done. Then lo-and-behold, my friend visiting from Kansas asked if we could get together. HECK YEAH! So off I went. I got some pizza and Capri-suns and me and the kids had a truck-nic (that would be a picnic in the bed of my truck) ((have I mentioned that I L♥VE having a truck!?!)) Good times. I decided we definitely need to get a tailgate blanket or something though because the bed liner got HOOOOOOT!.... Anyways, Tab showed up and we let the kids go play while we had some good chattin-catch up time. It was awesome! And I think the kids really liked the fact that they got to play for 2 hours instead of the normal 1/2-1 hour.
So yeah.... after playing, came home put the kids down for naps... had a lil relaxation & reading time. Ben got home. Had to go save the day (not really) for my Ne' after her pants split.... *EEK* Sorry to say the only pants I have that would fit her are purple scrub bottoms. Didn't match so well with her maroon shirt... or the Doc Martins she was wearing.... but you know what?! Whatever. It saved her from her jiblets (haha) being shown to the public at large.... ok it wasn't that bad, but it definitely cut down on the "draft".
Ok. I'm being silly. I need to go. heheheheheeeeeeeeeeeeee.
